My last blog post got a couple of responses and one of the readers commented that I haven’t included Google Adsense as a way to make money from home. Initially, I planned to write an article on Adsense a bit later, but thought it would be an even better idea if I post it right away. after all, Google Adsense is indeed one of the best way to take if you are still wondering how to make money from home .
I’m sure almost all of you know what is Adsense. But, just incase you are a complete newbie, Adsense is an affiliate program run by Google. Did you ever come across a site which looks like the one below -
Notice the ad blocks (highlighted). These are Adsense ads which the site owner or the blogger is displaying on his web site or blog. If someone visiting the blog or web site clicks any ad from the ad blocks, the link takes him or her to the advertiser’s web page. The advertiser thus gets traffic and pays Google for it. Google in turn shares a portion of the revenue thus earned with the ad publisher who is displaying the ads on his site. That’s Google Adsense for you in short. In my next post I’ll show you how you can create a blog for free and display Adsense ads on it. Again I’m sure most of you know how to do it, but there are a lot of people who don’t know anything about it. However, to be able to make money from this blog, you would be required to do a couple of more things. Find a less competitive market and promote your site or blog when it is ready. More on that and how to make from home when I return tomorrow. Stay tuned.

I’m trying to make money online working from home using almost identical methods. I’m making like a couple of dollars every day. Is there any way to increase the Adsense CTR ?

Hi Suzaned,
Good to know that you are already making some money working from home. You can increase your Adsense CTR and income by blending the ad blocs with the content style.
