As it is, Accounting is indeed computerized, comparedï»¿ to like 20 plus yrs ago…lol when is the last time anyone did a Tax return by-hand , the key though is, how to implement those real-life cases, with analysis depending on the nature of each individual business or situation involved, e.g. costs or expenses, is it really an asset or a mere expense, etc. get the idea…

Accounting is largely based on judgment (plus other skills of course) so a program toï»¿ replace accountant would be too complex because of the sheer number of real life situations which do not have the same background information. The day Artificial Intelligence becomes cheap and reliable, maybe we could think about such an endeavor.
